I had always wanted to voice an opinion on the war raging in the East since 03 and I think I managed a nice balance with this track. Straight up anti-war seemed a little over done so I tried to take it into the restrained setting of letters sent home to a significant other. Enjoy!
I wrote this about a friend who constantly found herself surrounded by people that supported her and wanted to be there for her yet blinded herself to it and became a consumate defeatist. I can only hope that it lets anyone in need of help know that there's always somebody around to support you, you just have to look. Enjoy
